Film Noir

These are some photos from my recent shoot with Raquel. I wanted to do something very dark, raw and edgy; cinematic and dramatic. I also wanted to produce some female portraits that showed emotions usually left well alone - a departure from the usual representation of woman. Raquel was amazing, as you can see, and brought my vision to life perfectly. I think of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo's Lisbeth Salander when I look at these. Enjoy!

This is a preview from a shoot I did with Raquel today. Its summer time here in Brisbane and about 28 degrees and humid. Really put me in the mood to do something with a cold and dark winter vibe! More to come ...
